"Jingle Bell Wreck" is a parody of the pop Christmas classic "Jingle Bell Rock". The original song was first released in 1957 by American country singer Bobby Helms; songwriting credits were attributed to Joe Beal and Jim Boothe, but Helms and session musician Hank Garland claimed they'd substantially rewritten the song before recording it and thus also deserved writing credit; however, this has never officially been granted.[1]
For the parody version, JD came up with the title as a joke during the November 2024 livestream, and the continued riffing inspired community moderator Erian to write the full lyrics. The band came up with the arrangement and released a YouTube video of the song on 11 December 2024.

As performed in the video.
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell wreck
Jingle bells sink in the jingle bells drink
Stormy winds blowin', the sails they won't hold
In the jingle wintery cold
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell wreck
We'll jingle bell cry in jingle bell time
Rocking and rolling in jingle despair
In the frosty air
What a fright time, not the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time, in the swell time
To be sinking at the break of day
Heave her up jingle mates, pick up the speed
Jingle upon the deck
Haul on the ropes and pull on the sheets
That's the jingle bell wreck
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell wreck
We'll jingle bell cry in jingle bell time
Rocking and rolling in jingle despair
In the frosty air
What a fright time, not the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time, in the swell time
To be sinking at the break of day
Heave her up jingle mates, pick up the speed
Jingle upon the deck
Haul on the ropes and pull on the sheets
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell wreck!
